What should I expect on my child's first day of class?

Come to the office to confirm your child's registration and pay any balance that is due. At the start of class time your child’s coach will call his/her class to an area of the gym or waiting room with the parents. The coach will introduce themselves and handout a Ricks Bag with an S-CARD (skill –sticker card). The coach will explain what to expect this season and explain that there is no more group warm-up. Each class will be called in and immediately go to their first event and do a warm up at/on that event. The first 2 events or rotations will last 20 min. followed by 1 other event that is a 15 min rotation. The last 5 min of class will be spent on that last event filling out and updating the S-card and giving out certificates stamps or stickers and taking attendance. This year we have new curriculum and lesson planning along with our new equipment and tons of other upgrades sure to make our recreation program the most advanced in the state. We will be hosting 3 skill weeks this year. This is where each coach is assigned a special week to invite the parents into the last 5 min of the class to see up close and personal what your child has been working on. This will give the parents the opportunity to ask questions or speak to their child's coach.

Skill weeks: (depends on when your coach is assigned a week - notices will be emailed and posted in gym your coach)
